The Haunted Mansion movie premiered at Disneyland this past week. The red carpet was rolled out in front of the Mansion for foolish mortals to attend. Playful spooks and even some Disney villains were in attendance! The event started in New Orleans Square, at the Haunted Mansion and then continued over in DCA at the Hyperion Theater.

New foods inspired by the Haunted Mansion have materalized around the resort. There is a pre-fixe menu at Cafe Orleans featuring a seafood boil and a spooky vanilla mousse. Harbour Galley has the Constance Concoction which is a potato leek soup served in a bread bowl, and the Pickwick Ghost Punch. A new Pepita character puppet/float appeared in the Magic Happens parade this past week. The puppet now has a platform float with a driver.
