The Villas at the Disneyland Hotel opened this past week. This is the 16th Disney Vacation Club property to open. The new tower has 12 stories and 344 themed rooms. The rooms are highly themed to Disney Animation. A new nighttime entertainment option has debuted to fill a small part of the gap left by Fantasmic! being dark. The Heartbeat of New Orleans – A Living Mural is a shorter show that makes up for it by performing multiple times each evening. Cast members will be getting a commemorative Disney100 nametag soon. The nametag is platinum colored, with a sparkling Disney100 logo across the center, with the cast member’s name engraved in black. The lounge that replaced Steakhouse 55 in the Disneyland Hotel has opened this week. The small location is the old bar section of the former restaurant and serves drinks and a limited menu. Disney Visa Cardmembers who were looking for a deal on select hotel stays at Disneyland should get their cards out! Disneyland has a new set of Ambassadors now. Jada Young and Raul Aquina Rojas replace the previous Ambassadors Mark Everett King Jr. and Nataly Guzman Garcia representing the 34,000 cast members at the resort.
