Of course, the day after our last episode went live, we got the reopening date for the Adventureland Treehouse. The attraction will reopen on November 10th to guests and feature the mother’s music den, the son’s nature room, and the daughter’s astronomer’s loft. The kitchen, dining room, and father’s art studio are at ground level. Space Mountain returned from refurbishment last week, with some notable updates and one miss, at least for now. On the exterior of the attraction, new projection effects and lighting really bring the mountain to life. Inside the attraction, new projection effects have been added “in space” for guests to experience. The new bar at The Villas at the Disneyland Hotel opens this week! The Palm Breeze Bar will serve salads, sandwiches, sharables, pizza, and more. A fun and scary cast member event was shared online recently. The Redwood Creek Challenge Trail scare maze was available to cast members attending the Grizzly Peak Halloween Carnival recognition event. This Halloween season, a Disney artist named Joe Yakovetic has been at the Disneyland Hotel and the Grand Californian Hotel sculpting pumpkins. He was by the Fantasy Tower at the Disneyland Hotel from noon to 3PM, and at the Grand Californian from 5PM to 8PM. A holiday tradition at Disneyland is returning this year, and the dates have been released. The Candlelight Processional will take place on December 2nd and 3rd at 5:30pm and 7:45pm each night. As usual, narrators for the show have not been announced and will be a surprise for the nights of the processional. Disney Vacation Club announced the dates and registration details for the 2024 Moonlight Magic events at Walt Disney World and Disney California Adventure. These events are free for DVC members and include after-hours access to attractions, rare character meet and greets, entertainment, and more. For Disney California Adventure, the event will take place on January 29th, 2024. No further information was announced at this time.
