Courtney El Refai, is a NICU travel nurse and the owner of a new apparel shop called Minimal Nurse. She makes cozy minimal style T-shirts for nurses to represent their specialties. She's been a NICU nurse for over 6 years and just recently signed her 5th travel nursing contract! She launched her business during the middle of her 4th travel nurse contract and while working a per diem job!

Travel nursing took her to new cities and hospitals, and something she noticed at each place was the shirts nurses wear to represent themselves and their specialty. She decided to make her own NICU t-shirt – one that was modern and minimal, but also soft enough for long shifts. She quickly started to receive lots of love for her shirts, so she designed more to represent other units. Within a month, she fulfilled over 300 orders from all different specialties! She soon learned that she needed a better way to manage this project -- thus minimalnurse.com was born.
