The Colorado Avalanche win another one at home against the Montreal Canadiens. A quick goal by Montreal put the Avalanche behind the eight ball almost immediately. The whole game was the Avalanche trying to climb back from the 1-0 deficit until Artturi Lehkonen scored a goal to even things up. The game would then go back to a deadlock for the rest of the regulation. Overtime would be needed to decide the victor. Mikko Rantanen stepped up one more time with an overtime goal to give Colorado two points.
