Do I Like This?

Just in time for Black Friday, Sam and Ian are ahead of the game while going back in time to the grandfather of holiday slasher films, Black Christmas. This week we experienced the first ever call coming from inside the house, a revelation regarding Indiana Jones work in the field of mysteries, Claude the suspicious cat, and we finally understand the infrastructure behind tracing phone calls in the 1970s. It makes so much sense why there were so many murders now. Join us this week, and for god sake just calmly walk out of the house. Don't make me scream it at you.

We kick off the return of Do I Like This? the podcast with a deep, deep dive into an underwater haunted house found footage masterpiece? We swim like Jagger, spend too much time worrying about social media views, meet our new favorite possessed piece of diving equipment, and hold Sam’s hand through an ending that we need to talk about. Hopefully no one in your life subjects you to unwanted heavy metal music, but if they do this week we learned you are not alone!

This week we (like the rest of the world) are still coming down from Stranger Things Season 4. We also touch on two other series we just got into, Sweet Home and Haunting of Bly Manor, as we welcome you to TV week at Do I Like This?

Back from summer break, we tackled the hard hitting social issue of our time: is it okay to kill ninjas as long as they are trying to sling drugs for the church? We also are tackle some meta 70s nicknames, priest college, impossible Vietnam flashbacks (again?), and find ourselves repeatedly losing the plot. The holidays are full of many things, especially surprises! This past week Sam had a surprise case of voice-b-gone, and we were fortunate enough to have a fantastic surprise guest host in actor, writer, jack-of-all-trades creator Tom Downey sitting in for her. For his last minute kindness Ian rewarded Tom with the 1989 holiday marvel that is Elves. What a way to kick off our holiday themed month!! Cheers!
