This week, Elliot and Jamie go over their hometown cases; first, Antinette "Toni" Keller was a freshman at Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, IL, where she was murdered in 2010 after going on a walk through the college town's park, and then the 2004 case of 3-year-old Riley Fox who was abducted and found brutally murdered from her own home, Wilmington, IL, that went unsolved for six years.

Layleen "Xtravaganza" Polanco was a 27-year-old trans woman from New York who was arrested on misdemeanor charges of assault and harassment in April 2019 and sent to Rikers Island, an all men's prison. During her imprisonment she was placed in solitary confinement, despite having epilepsy. In June, Layleen was found unresponsive in her cell and was later pronounced dead. Trans Women are targeted and killed at an alarming rate, and way too many go unreported. Listen as Elliot tells you the unfortunate story of; how we lost this young woman, the violence against against the LGBTQ+ community, and the disasters of the prison system.
