In this episode of the Gold & Blue Breakdown Show, Couz and Jonathan talk about some recent WVU football commits for the 2026 class. They will dive into a West Virginia in-state star who has committed to Coach Rodriguez and WVU, as well as an offensive lineman that has committed who is moving up the ESPN recruiting rankings.

Despite these commitments, and being fourth in 247 Sports' Big 12 recruiting rankings, WVU has no four-star or five-star recruits for the 2026 recruiting class. The guys will discuss whether or not that matters for Rich Rodriguez and the Mountaineers.

Jon and Couz will also talk about a player from the transfer portal who is on campus visiting the WVU basketball program. They will talk about this power 4 player and how he could help Ross Hodge and the Mountaineer program.
