Then we break down the wild lawsuit surrounding the Lion King that was filed after a comedian made a joke about the meaning of the chant at the beginning of the film’s famous song “Circle of Life”. Turns out not everyone thought his interpretation of the chant was that funny, because the song’s writer, Lebo M, saw the viral clip and decided the reasonable thing to do was to file a lawsuit with damages totaling over $27 MILLION.
