I had the pleasure of getting my friend Robert Syslo Jr. on my podcast this week and loved hearing his entire journey. We met at the 10X GrowthCon and even though we've been friends for a couple years I had no idea all of the struggles and set backs he had to go through in order to propel him to where he's at today. He's always had a passion for using his camera to create exceptional visual content and is currently running his own media agency, Syslo Ventures, out of Miami. This episode was truly inspiring for myself as to what can be done with some perseverance, some good people in your life and a dogged determination to never give up. I thoroughly enjoyed our conversation and I think you will be too.

Mady is not only an championship athlete and a future olympian, but she's also extremely intelligent and passionate about bringing awareness to the topic of sexual assault. We talk about her journey as an athlete; from playing soccer to track to finally focusing solely on the high jump event. 

We talk about how she prepares for competition, recovery from training and injuries, diet and how she stays in peak form. She also outlines how she humorously believes the only way she can win a championship is after something bad happens to her (last segment). 

Lastly we touch on where her future is with the sport and how she plans to impact youth and athletes around the country when she's done competing. She's very inspiring and I hope you enjoy listening.

Last week I decided that we needed to sell some better protein bars at our office. Little did I know, the unhealthy ingredients that we won’t sell to our patients disqualifies most of the bars out there. As a vegan, it helps tremendously when you can get some protein from a quick bar and go on with your day. I still haven’t found the perfect bar, but I go through what I’ve discovered so far. I discuss why so many popular protein bar brands aren’t really that healthy for you and what you need to look out for when buying bars, or just food in general. Enjoy! Stay Healthy! Stay Happy!

Well, the Super Bowl wasn’t so super and the best part of it all turned out to be the gluten free snacks, desserts and cheese-less gluten free Dominoes pizza. Avalon roasts Adam Levine for not being cool and overall not being impressed with anything on Super Bowl Sunday. She finally does get excited when we talk about her Fantasy Bachelor League team, her strategy and how she plans to win it all this year. Lastly, we go way too deep in talking about our perfect Super Bowl party snack spread and what we would NEED to have for our party.

This past weekend I went to a chiropractic adjusting technique bootcamp hosted by my friend and ex-classmate Dr. Brett Jones. One of the most unique and educational weekends I’ve had that really helped me get better at my craft of adjusting. This podcast was on the go as I recorded throughout the weekend with what I learned, how I was feeling throughout and how the whole experience concluded. Enjoy and keep honing your craft,
