Brian rambles about his experience at Doctoberfest!

This past weekend was Who North America's annual Fall Festival, Doctoberfest. Held on the grounds at Who NA since 2015, it's grown from just a few games and activities, as well as a good excuse to shop for some Who merch. Starting last year, they added a second location at a nearby hotel with a free shuttle to & from, plus, a few guests via Zoom. For this year's Doctoberfest, they brought in the wonderful Sophie Aldred as their very first celebrity, as well as a collection of fun panels, vendor's room, and a costume contest. It was an incredible time.

Special thanks to the Who NA staff and the wonderful volunteers who helped put on such a fantastic day, as well as the friendly staff at the Courtyard by Marriott, Plainfield, IN.

Enjoy some photos below from the event as well as the store itself.

If you're not far from Camby, IN, and Who NA, give them a visit. They have a merchandise museum that'll have you alternating between nostalgia and envy. They've also got the old Doctor Who pinball machine, a talking Dalek that greets you at the store, not to mention the incredible merchandise museum as well as a mind boggling amount of books, DVDs, t-shirts, stickers, action figures, magnets, magazines, Big Finish audios. You name it, they probably have it. Visit them online at www.whona.com.

The imbeciles are back for our 20th episode. We're reviewing Power of the Doctor, the final chapter of the Jodie Whittaker/Chris Chibnall era. What worked? What didn't? AND WHY BOTHER WITH THASMIN IF'N YOU AIN'T GONNA ADDRESS IT?!

We're kind, we're critical, we're comedic: all the hallmarks of a proper Imbecile podcast.

Thanks for listening!

On a cold night in November 2022, Adam and Brian recorded this episode… and months later, we release it unto you on this May the 4th(which, if you listen to our prologue, has a different significance for Brian).

And so it goes…

In this episode, we give our views on the worldwide deal with Disney+, why we enjoy the fruit of what the DVDs have to offer, then share our experiences with Target novelizations before heading into our review of Ian Marter's first foray into the range, The Ark In Space.

Enjoy!

We're back and it's about comics!

Adam and Brian have returned from their 3+ year retreat from society to bring you a brand new episode of the podcast you forgot you loved.

This time, the Imbeciles take a gander at Titan Comics' Eleventh Doctor story, Afterlife, which introduces new companions Alice Obiefune, John Jones, and the whatever-the-heck Arc is.

We're a little rusty but, hey, it's been a weird time, yah?

Enjoy and Stay Safe!

The Imbeciles are back after a long hiatus with a verbally-packed discussion on the oft-used Doctor Who trope, The Base Under Siege.

Thrill as we discuss The Moonbase, The Horror of Fang Rock, and The Waters of Mars. We also kick around the prominent (not really) fan theory that Terrance Dicks is DW's answer to Tony Montana.

Click here to hear Adam and Brian discuss The Horror of Fang Rock on The Watch-A-Thon of Rassilon podcast.

"All I have in this world is my bawls and my word, and I don't break them for no one." -- (not) Uncle Tewwance.
