Doctrine Matters Podcast

I didn't expect to do a video today, but this topic made me think twice. I want you to know that our enemy wraps himself up as an angel of light.

Cancelling Church on Christmas Day is the correct thing to do, right?

I know everyone has a thought about Santa Clause and whether or not it is a good idea to tell their kids or not. What about Christian homes?

Should Christian parents tell their kids about Santa? Is it lying? Are we too focused on tradition rather than the pages of Scripture?

On this episode I tackle a tough subject regarding Christians and Santa Clause.

The convictions that I share are my own. I in no way shape or form discredit you as a believer if you do Santa in your home.

My only goal with this video is to get you thinking Biblically and not traditionally or culturally.

@Ligonier Ministries just put out there State of Theology survey. As usual, there are some staggering numbers when it comes to the state of theology in America.

Over the next several episodes I want to briefly look at each question in the survey and compare the answers given by American adults, as well as evangelicals, to what the Word of God truly says.

On this episode we look at the question: Should every Christian be a member of a local Church?

Modesty is a hot button issue these days, but it is something that is not talked about near enough. I have been called many terrible names simply for promoting Biblical modesty. Maybe this is a reason we have so much sexual immorality in our culture.

Is Christianity in decline? According to one research center the answer is yes, but is it really? What is the leading factor involved in Christianity declining? How did they conduct this research? How do they know those that profess to be Christians are actual Christians? If Christianity declines, does that mean the Kingdom of God is in decline and He is losing the battle? What has led to this decline?

There are many questions that must be answered concerning a news article published by CBS News that looked at research done by the Pew Research Center. Take a listen as I unpack what I truly believe is driving these statistics.

Is there a real life Purge about to happen in America? According to a law that will begin in January of 2023, it seems like the state of Illinois is setting themselves up to have a real life purge situation on their hands.

What does this mean for future states? What does this mean for citizens of this state and any others that may adopt this law? What does it mean for Christians? How are we to respond?

On this episode I give you some information about the SAFE-T Act in Illinois, and what to do as Christians in light of such law.

I ran across a video today of a someone named Joey Maiza who is detransistioning. Joey was born a female and transitioned to male, and is now stopping the transition. There is so much brokenness and frustration in Joey's voice which leads me to a few thoughts about the issue and the things that will be upcoming regarding today's youth and their transitions.

If you identify as LGBTQ+ and would like to talk to someone about the Bible, the Gospel, how to detransition or more, feel free to email me a [email protected]
