  • Forgiveness and the Human Heart
Forgiveness is something we all want when we fail. Whenever we sin against others we want them to forgive us, but forgiveness is not always something we want to give. Sometimes we put stipulations on granting someone forgiveness whether it's waiting to see if the forgiveness is genuine or if they were really serious by seeking forgiveness.
The problem with this is that Jesus didn't tell us to put stipulations on forgiveness, He simply told us to forgive. On this episode we will discuss forgiveness, the human heart, and our need to be obedient to Scripture. Our obedience, or lack thereof has major Biblical consequences.

  • Sin is Easy, Do Hard Things
On this episode of the Doctrine Matters Podcast I am going to talk briefly about some things going on in the world today, and then I want to look at a passage of Scripture and the implications it has on us today.
The ultimate goal for this episode is to see all of the things in our world that is sin, and how easy it is to do these things, but how tough it seems to be to follow Christ. Regardless of how tough it is, it's always better to do hard things when it comes to our Christian life.

  • Throwback: False Teachers
Take a listen to this throwback  from three years ago! This was long before there was a Doctrine Matters Podcast or a Youtube channel.

The Gospel is important. Doctrine is important. Theology is important. We can't compromise on any of these three things. If we do, we run the risk of serious consequences.

  • Bob Saget: Americas Dad, Dead at 65
How should we view the deaths of celebrities? Every death is loss, and all loss is tragic. We mourn with those who mourn and weep with those who weep.
What about celebrities that die, that do not profess Christ or care anything at all about God and His Word? How do we view their death then? Do we make social media shrines? Do we say R.I.P? Or do we view their death through the lens of Scripture.
On this episode, I attempt to view these deaths through the lens of Scripture, and offer a way to truly mourn these celebrity deaths.

Are Churches like Cowboy Churches and Biker Churches Biblical?
If you were to ask 50 people this very question, you will likely get at least 40 different replies. Does the Bible give us any indication that these types of Churches are ok?
On this episode I dive into the answer to the question through a Biblical lens from my point of view. Let me know your thoughts!

  • Postmodern Truth Kills Churches
The Postmodern world we live in is going to kill Churches. Many Churches should have the word ICHABOD on the door post because The glory of God has departed.
In this episode I am going to talk about a Church that has embraced Post Truth, Postmodern thought and ran with it. This Church is no longer a Church. It's lampstand has been removed. That is, if it has ever had a lampstand to begin with.
The LGBTQIA+ agenda is dangerous, and making truth what you want it to be is even more dangerous. Let's talk about it.
