We have no doubt heard the term woke thrown around over the past few years. My question to you on this episode is, are you woke? Maybe not in the sense that the world means it, but as the Bible means it.

It has been a few weeks now since the Southern Baptist Convention ended in Nashville, Tennessee, but the talk is just getting started. There are plenty of people talking about the good, the bad, and the ugly that went down at the annual convention. I have given my thoughts on what I saw take place on the floor of the Music City Center.

With this being my first convention I didn't know what to expect. I had an idea, but I never expected it to go the way it did. Let me know what you think. You may agree or disagree, and that is ok. I'd love to hear from you.

For the first time ever I visited a Planned Parenthood, and to be honest, it was the first abortion mill I've ever visited, Planned Parenthood or other. What I saw was heartbreaking, the things I heard was heartbreaking, and the babies that were murdered in just a short amount of time was heartbreaking.

We have to join the fight to end abortion. We can no longer sit and share Facebook posts about ending abortion, we have to actively be doing something. I give three ways we can all help in this fight.

Within 24 hours, people that profess Christ have had some very negative things to say regarding Derek Chauvin and the verdict that was released yesterday. In my previous episode, I mentioned we have to point to Christ with our language when we speak about things that we agree or disagree on.

Today, I have seen many people that profess Christ at odds with one another over the verdict. Christ has not been honored, and God has not been glorified in many conversations.

On top of all this, another officer involved shooting has taken place. This time in Ohio with a 16 year old girl losing her life. The woke mob has already started speaking. We will discuss both of these things on this episode.

For over a year we watched the footage of Derek Chauvin leaning on the neck of George Floyd. We watched the nearly 10 minute video that sparked riots across the country, the burning of Minneapolis, and calls to defund the police were heard for miles and miles around the United States.

Did the new found wokeness of America win the day with a guilty verdict on three different accounts? Did Derek Chauvin have a fair trial? Was justice served? There are many questions surrounding the outcome of this trial. There are many thoughts and comments surrounding the outcome of this trial. Thoughts that will stir debates around the country. So, lets talk about it.

Recently Pastor James Coates was released from prison for continuing to open his Church in the middle of a pandemic. Although released, he wasn't going to be preaching at the normal Church building. Health officials put a fence around the building forcing the congregation to find a place to worship, essentially in hiding. Is this persecution?
