First, The plaintiff says she became a heroin addict for years after the death of her young son, but she’s sober now. She’s suing her friend for an unpaid loan. The defendant says she also had a hard life but is back on the straight and narrow. She denies owing anything.

Then, The plaintiff is a retired baker and bought a food truck. She says she hired the defendant to do a wrap on the truck, but she claims he abandoned the job and ruined the vehicle, so she’s suing. The defendant says he didn’t complete the work because the plaintiff didn’t pay him. He’s countersuing for unpaid wages.
