Welcome back! Today we spoke with Mikhail Arsentiev, the founder of Skylex. Skylex is an app that connects people directly with immigration lawyers immediately.
Being an immigration lawyer himself with over 10 years of experience, Mikhail discovered that people are forced to spend excessive time dealing with assistants, paralegals, and automated response bots before they reach an actual lawyer who can give them the information that they are looking for. With the insider perspective on things, he knew that there was a more efficient way to make this process occur, and he set out to make it happen!
Skylex is currently on the app store.
Thanks Mikhail for sharing your story!

If you're in Austin, you've probably seen those big black ridesharing vans bringing people all around town. If you've been lucky enough to ride in one, then you know that taking a Fetii is not only cheaper, but overall an exciting and electric experience!
Well, today we spoke to the mastermind behind Fetii, Matthew Iommi. Only a few years out of college, Matthew and his team have managed to grow Fetii from a single shuttle service bringing A&M students around college station to a multimillion dollar business that is now a major competitor of Uber and Lyft.
Thank you Matthew for sharing your story with us!

Today I spoke with Luke & Rai Thorssen, co-founders of Vlogmi Corp about the struggles that they've experienced on social media and how they are fighting that with their startup Vlogmi. We also talk about their time in the Phillippines and how it's helped shape them into the entrepreneurs they are today.
I think today's conversation shows us that entrepreneurship is not always glorious and requires many sacrafices just to stay in the game. It's so important to show up and fight on the days that you least want to and be a doer.
Thanks Luke and Rafi for sharing y'alls story!

Today I talked to David, who I met at (you guessed it) capital factory and is a game developer for Zwift. We talked about how David got into video games as a kid and eventually became interested in not just playing but coding and developing them. David is a super energetic and fun guy to hang around, so if you ever run into him downtown you won't regret saying hi. Oh, and Andrew and David are both from Sunnyvale CA! (srsly like same middle school and everything)
Hope y'all enjoyed this episode. Thanks David for sharing your story!
