Dr. Loren Collingwood, associate professor in the Department of Political Science at University of New Mexico, and co-author of the book, “Sanctuary Cities: The Politics of Refuge,” joins John Williams to talk about where his interest in immigration comes from, if cities that welcome undocumented immigrants have less crime, if he believes that all people crossing the border illegally are criminals, and why we need a better pathway to citizenship.
