This episode dives into some of the things we should think about before we get a new pet! Especially during a pandemic. There are a bunch of components to getting a new pet, vet bills, grooming, breeds, temperaments, exercise, etc. If you are thinking about a new fur baby, take 10 minutes out of your day to stop and listen!
In my first Q&A, I answer a couple of questions from a listener! How to be helpful in the workplace, how to gain experience, and to stand out as an employee. All of these questions are from my point of view and experience, from working in a corporate salon to working as a right-hand groomer in a small local business.

I talk about how I handle my well being in and outside of the grooming salon. Grooming is a high-pace, high-stress job. We work closely with live animals, sharp objects, and of course people. Sometimes we are so busy taking care of others that we forget to take care of ourselves. This can also apply to anyone in any service industry who is feeling frustrated and burnt out at work.
Disclaimer: I am not a professional life coach, therapist, or psychologist but these are the things that have helped me keep my mental and physical health in good shape.
1. Eating well
2. Good Sleep
3. Yoga/ Breathing
4. Journaling
5. Therapy
6. Separating work & home
7. New Hobbies/ Learning something new
8. Surrounding myself with like-minded people
9. Loosen up
10. Changing up routine
I got into depth about how these top 10 things have helped me feel stable and at ease in and outside of work.
