This episode:
Carson an Akita mix is the long awaited best friend of Ryan. He’s 3 years old now and was adopted at 7 months. His work ethic for toys is awesome and so fun to hear about.
At the time of interview Ryan was up in Canada staying with family up there so you’ll hear about snow and their van life trip from Texas to Canada. I think what I love most about Ryan’s interview is the detail and humor shared with us that undeniably shows how loved and appreciate sweet Carson is! The descriptions and the personification of Carson is so comical and so Ryan. I can’t tell you how much I’ve enjoyed getting to know Ryan since last June and I hope you will go to watch the super helpful video’s on Ryan’s YouTube channel called Not that Ryan Reynolds.

Today's episode:
Maleen and Cody have been best friends for the past 14 and a half years. They have traversed mountains and all sorts of hiking trails together. They might've started off a little rocky on the first night but they didn't let that stop them. Maleen shares their ups and downs and adventures. Don't miss her description of what could have been a very scary event if Cody hadn't been there to protect her.

Today’s stories come from Kent of Goosemasters and Kuykendall Border Collies. Kent has worked with dogs since the age of 2. No exaggerating there! Most of the stories are about Border Collies but he has had many other breeds in his life as well. I hope to share those stories another time.
At the end of the episode, I share the three most downloaded shows so far.

Episode 41 -
Today’s guest, Dawn Chitty, shares about Baxter, her Pug/Boston Terrier mix, and Walter, her French Bulldog. These two sweet souls have had a profound effect on her life and the life of her family. She shares about how she first fell in love with a noble dog on Belle and Sebastian, a French television show she used to watch as a child in England. As these stories come from a woman that has struggled with allergies, they show how the pure love of a dog can conquer all.

Raven and I met through a class we took last Summer. She asked for some dog training help with her dog, Filly, so we worked together over Zoom for a few sessions. We became friends through that and today Raven shares some updates about her dog, Filly, who’s a 2 year old rambunctious mini Schnauzer full of energy plus we have some fun with the Zodiac personality descriptions for our own dogs (both Sagittarians) and some other dogs we know.
Trivia for this episode:

This episode:
Sydney shares about Oso and Riis, her Mastiff mixes. Riis was found abandoned and in need of care but also in need of confidence-building training. Oso, who she raised from a puppy, was well trained and happy, but after he and Riis were attacked by two other dogs, he became aggressive. Sydney shares a bit about the training and consistent work her dogs needed to overcome their fears and aggressive responses. She also shares about how these dogs help her live a better life. I know you’ll enjoy these stories as well as her book recommendations.

This episode:
I learned about Lex and Riot because they have their own YouTube channel where they share about living as nomads. Lex shares information and images such as practical advice to the beautiful places they visit. I spoke with them both - yes, both - and you know what I mean as your dog gives plenty of looks or communicates with their body language very well. :0) I know you’ll enjoy Lex and Riot’s stories.
Here's a little trivia question for you: How many types of Belgian Shepherds are there? Have a listen to the episode to find out.
I mention two fun articles about Malinois and other dogs I found in the news after her interview. See the links below and have a listen as to why I believe you'll want to read them!
Enjoy!
