This is the story of one man's love of the Border Collie breed, sheepherding, and, of course, his own amazing dogs. 

Billy shares how he got his first BC (Border Collie) and when he first saw sheepherding in action or as he told me "poetry in motion".

Here in Florida, Billy is not only a farrier (these hardworking people do horse shoeing and hoof trimming) but also a blacksmith and a respected dog trainer.

In this episode, you'll hear about an English Lab that has known his name from a very young age.  His name happens to be Hootie and his mom, Patti, shares stories of this lovable lab.  From swimming pools to beautiful state parks, Patti's stories of Hootie will resonate with all dog lovers.

Later this week, come back to hear Patti talk about some of her favorite things that have helped her as a dog mom. We all need some things to make dog ownership a bit easier and having the right tools can do that.  When Patti offered to share her list, I was happy for the advice and even bought one of these items right after hearing about it. 

Shona shares about her best friend, Colby, with much humor and warmth.  Colby is a silvery-gray mini Schnauzer who will be 13 in July.  They've had many adventures together and have learned how to read each other well.
