Today I’m talking again with Joan Van Duynhoven, the Public Health Officer of Jefferson County, Montana. We’re doing a follow up on our last talk about Covid-19 in Jefferson County, but this time, we’re specifically talking about Covid-19 testing in Jefferson County. We’ll talk about testing accessibility, what kind of Covid-19 testing is available, and in general, what may be the cost of testing. We’ll also spend time talking about where the public can find a trusted source of information on Covid-19 for both Montana and Jefferson County.
For today’s podcast, I’m talking with Joan Van Duynhoven, the Jefferson County, Montana, Health Officer. Joan and I will mainly talk about Covid-19 and how this virus is impacting Jefferson County. But – before we get into our Covid-19 discussion, I wanted to ask Joan what a county health officer does in non-pandemic times. We’ll start our conversation there…
Montana Tier B 2020 candidates include Kimberly Dudik and Raph Graybill for Attorney General, Bryce Bennett for Secretary of State, Shane Morigeau for State Auditor, and Melissa Romano for Superintendent of Public Instruction. So, you might ask, what’s important about these candidates, especially with a label of Tier B? It turns out that these positions in our state government are really critical – these are the people that look out for our state elections, schools, state trust lands, health insurance rates – just to name a few areas of interest.
