Cigar of the Week - Torano Virtuoso Maestro
The Virtuoso is the first ever Sun-Grown wrapper cigar to be both made and grown by the Torano family. Torano describes this line as being the most full bodied cigar in their portfolio. With fillers from Nicaragua, Honduras and Panama, a binder from Honduras and that Pueblo Nuevo SunGrown wrapper from their own fields in Nicaragua, Torano says you will get a smooth and well balanced cigar full of peppery spice, roasted coffee and cocoa flavors. Since Bob has been on a Churchill kick lately, our last selection for November is the 7” by 50 Maestro vitola. Three other sizes are also available, all come in beautiful white finished cedar boxes of 25 cigars.

Los Blancos NINE - The Nine is Los Blancos's answer to the Cain, T110 and other full-bodied, triple ligero sticks. David would not tell me the exact specs. The cigar differs from other triple ligero sticks in its fermentation and the wrapper. Los Blancos uses an Oscuro wrapper that is very dark, and very oily (think Liga Privada). This is a very good looking smoke with great construction and a very nice heft to it.

Cain Maduro - Following on the heels of the NUB, Sam Lescia has produced another unigue cigar to stir up the business. The Oliva Cain Cigars are a triple-fremented all-ligero cigar that was released in August of 2009. The inspiration for the blend is the motto of "straight ligero". These cigars have a variety of ligero tobaccos from several regions of popular tobacco farms in Esteli, Condega, and the Jalapa Valley in Nicaragua. Double Toro (6x60)
Robusto (5.5x50)
Torpedo (6x54)
