"Be strong and courageous! Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you!" (Deuteronomy 31:6 ESV)

Keep us aware of the "tides" in our own lives. Pride can make us miss the dangers that lurk just below the surface.

Lord, give us the clarity to see a bigger purpose when your answer to prayer is "no." Our weakness allows God's supernatural power to be on display, and the Glory is His.
