In this week’s episode I chat with Rebecca Story, sexual wellness expert and the founder of The Bloomi, which is the first marketplace for clean intimate care products with a mission to inspire women and femmes to be the CEO of their body. In this episode Rebecca shares how going to a very conservative Catholic High School inspired her to go into the sexual health field and how it led her to creating the Women’s Health & Sexuality major at UC Berkley. She walks us through her journey of building The Bloomi from doing extensive research on the type of clean products she wanted to offer, her process for sourcing them, why she decided to include sex toys and products in the marketplace and her experience raising money to fund the company. Rebecca also shares why it is important for her to not only provide her community with great products but to also educate them as well.
