In the late 30s to mid 40s, James Waybern "Red" Hall thumbed his way around the US robbing and murdering the kind hearted folks who had offered him a ride. He also committed plenty of crimes on his home turf, including the murders of several motorists around Little Rock and even the murder of his own wife. In this first of a three part series, we examine Red's early life, his relationship with his first wife Walcie, how he met his second wife Faye, and his first murders.  (Subject matter begins at 10:22)
