In the late 30s to mid 40s, James Waybern "Red" Hall thumbed his way around the US robbing and murdering the kind hearted folks who had offered him a ride. He also committed plenty of crimes on his home turf, including the murders of several motorists around Little Rock and even the murder of his own wife.
