Higher energy prices are regressive. They have a larger negative impact on the poor and middle class than on the wealthy. President Joe Biden's climate policies are purposefully raising energy prices, thus harming the poor and middle class. In less than a month, Biden has put the United States on the road to energy dependence to foreign countries in Middle East and China due to the fuel and green technologies Biden is pushing. Biden's policies hurt the environment and raise costs for every American. Going further by imposing carbon pricing would further damage the U.S. economy.
