Journalist Don Lemon is pushing back after rapper Nicki Minaj attacked him with a homophobic slur over his coverage of an ICE-related protest that disrupted a church service in Minnesota. Lemon, reporting from Minneapolis, said Minaj doesn’t understand journalism and criticized her social media post. The controversy unfolds amid rising tensions around Immigration and Customs Enforcement actions following the killing of Renee Nicole Good.
