Don’s sound involves either an acoustic guitar or a piano, as those two are his most enjoyable instruments to write on. Don aims for an acoustic sound, with a great hook to keep his tracks memorable. Instead of writing songs in a specific genre, Don likes to write about his current emotions and feelings, allowing the song itself to determine the genre. Influenced by Juice Wrld, Ed Sheeran, Jon Bellion, Lauv and Ryan Tedder, Don is motivated by their skill and creativity in song writing.

Don started off as a classical piano player but didn’t really enjoy it that much. He started learning how to play an acoustic guitar and how to sing from Youtube videos. This was when he really started to enjoy music again, but this time relearning in the genre of Pop.

Don started his music making journey in 2015, when he decided to study music performance at university, he decided that music was more than just a hobby.
