Doneraile Court, has stood proudly for 400 years. It has, within the walls of the immense park, unique remains of gardening history in Ireland that is unparalleled elsewhere in Britain or Ireland. That fact alone makes the park a truly remarkable place. Once home to the noble St. Leger family for centuries, it is regarded as a place of exceptional beauty and character.

The association with the St. Ledger family is one of the most constant of any large estate in Ireland.
