Ryan is still standing by his take. The comment section is still unhinged. And somehow in the middle of all of that, we ended up talking about a Dominican village where one in every 90 children is born appearing female… and grows a penis at puberty. Make it make sense.
This week we got into all of it — fake doctors, Kevin Hart’s worst decision, Drake dropping three albums (why), Chris Brown getting a 1.3 from Pitchfork, and a biology lesson none of us were ready for.

Am I the Asshole? — The Response Episode
The internet came for Ryan’s neck over last week’s AITA take, and he isBuddenacking down. Not even a little. Joyhdae is somewhere in the middle, which is somehow worse.
Dr. Cheyenne Bryant — “A License Is Only for Insurance”
She called herself a doctor for years. Appeared on Breakfast Club, Joe Budden, Shannon Sharpe. Then a DC journalist asked the simple questions and the whole thing unraveled. We get into the credentials controversy, what Argosy University actually was, and why Black women with real degrees were absolutely not letting this slide.
The Kevin Hart Netflix Roast
A George Floyd joke. Shane Gillis headlining. Kevin Hart laughing. Joyhdae has had enough of Kevin Hart and she has reasons. Ryan is leaning her way. Michael Che’s post-roast commentary was the most incisive thing anyone said about the whole situation, and he wasn’t even there.
Chris Brown’s Album Got a 1.3 — Pitchfork Said “Real Piece of Sh*t”
27 tracks. A Pitchfork review that went nuclear. And Breezy clapping back with “we kicking ass goddammit.” Joyhdae has never actually listened to a Chris Brown album since the first one, and stands firm.
Drake Dropped Three Albums
Iceman, Habibti, and Maid of Honor — allegedly to exit his deal and sell his catalog. Ryan listened to all three. The verdict is… it’s Drake. Joyhdae continues her lifelong streak of not listening to a full Drake album. Kendrick still lives in his head.
The Guevedoces — Penis at 12
In a village in the Dominican Republic, one in 90 children is born appearing female and grows male genitalia at puberty due to a rare enzyme deficiency. The community calls them guevedoces. The research from this village literally led to the creation of finasteride. Joyhdae brought this to the table and Ryan’s response was to immediately figure out how far away he could move. The gender conversation this opened up? We’re coming back to it.

Both of them were reaching this week. But they crack themselves up - so it is what it is.
