In February 2022, Nydira Smith (39) received an urgent call from her brother, Malik Stevens (21), asking for help on the Lincoln University campus after a group of boys were threatening Malik with a gun. Nydira tried to calm everyone down, but soon everything escalated into chaos, forcing Nydira to draw her knife. The fight turned deadly, resulting in student Jawine Evans (21) losing his life and leaving two others wounded.

Nydira fled, leaving investigators to sort through frantic cellphone footage, hidden evidence, and a trail that led straight back to Philadelphia to face murder and assault charges.

24-year-old Ja’Quoia Collins and her 21-year-old boyfriend, Quartez McShane, got into a heated argument that completely spiraled out of control outside her apartment. Things got ugly and Ja’Quoia stabbed Quartez in the chest, leaving him dead in the parking lot.

They still lived together, but George had moved on and started dating someone else. Tanasha wanted George and her family back, and she wasn’t afraid to do whatever it took to get them. When 27-year-old Paul Shealey stepped out and got another woman pregnant, 29-year-old Olicia Lee decided she’d had enough and started asking around for someone to take care of him …permanently. When her friends turned her down, she took matters into her own hands, shooting him dead while he slept on a Sunday morning before casually rounding up her children and heading off to church.
After the murder, she called those same friends to help load the body and dump it in a nearby lake. With zero immediate physical evidence and no shortage of suspicion, police hit a wall. But years later, the forensic and digital trail finally caught up with her, closing the loop on a Sunday-m morning execution that she thought she’d gotten away with.

Imagine moving to NYC to build a better life for your family, only to end up renting a room from the worst fake landlord imaginable. That is the exact nightmare 27 year old Chinelle Browne walked into in Brooklyn.

Chinelle, a loving mom of four from Guyana, was hustling to get established in New York so her husband and kids could move over. She rented a room in Brownsville, but quickly realized the place was a dump with no hot water or reliable electricity. What she did not know was that her 42 year old landlord, Leah Cuevas, did not even own the building. She was running a shady scam and pocketing cash after the real owner died.

On July 5, 2014, Chinelle confronted her and refused to pay rent for afor a house Leah didnt even own, Leah snapped. The argument turned violent, and Leah stabbed Chinelle over 30 times before chopping up her body and scattering her remains across Long Island.

This trail of body parts left investigators scrambling to identify the victim and track down a killer
