  • First Blood (1982)

Don't push it! Don't push it or I'll give you a war you won't believe. Let it go. Let it go! On this very fun episode we are discussing the 1982 action classic First Blood. When Green Beret veteran John Rambo makes his way through small town Hope, WA, he is harassed and run out by the power tripped Sheriff Teasle. When Rambo's Vietnam War PTSD kicks in, he fights for his life....until he has had enough. Starring Sylvester Stallone, the social commentary on this film is ripe and topical even today. When is enough actually enough?

  • Signs (2002)

Hello everyone. Have y’all ever questioned if La La Land deserved to be nominated for Best Picture? Or debated if Quentin Tarantino is actually overrated? Or perhaps challenged others by asking is Die Hard a Christmas movie? Here on the Don’t Be Crazy movie podcast we ask these questions and more with the help of fellow film enthusiasts. Who’s we? I’m Zach Rancourt and with me today is David Dassau from the Geek Garage Podcast. We might not be certified film critics or have our own column in The New Yorker, but the only thing we love more than cinema is talking about it.

Anyone ready for a plot twist ending? Well tune in as David Dassau and I discuss M. Night Shyamalan's 2002 thriller Signs. Crop circles, premonitions, jump scares, and glasses of water. What are your favorite moments from this memorable film? And how reliable is Shyamalan as a credible and legit "good" director?

  • Weird: The Al Yankovic Story (2022)

This is the Don't Be Crazy movie podcast. A show for film fans of all shapes, sizes, backgrounds and tastes. On this show I enlist help from fellow film enthusiasts to discuss what makes certain movies good or bad. We are by no means experts, instead just big time cinema fans who love to talk our butts off. I'm Zach Rancourt and with me today is David Dassau.

I'm gonna be the best, perhaps not technically the best, but arguably the most famous accordion players in an extremely specific genre of music? Chances are you have heard a Weird Al song once or twice in your life. But do you really know what happened behind the music? On this episode David Dassau from the Geek Garage Podcast will help Zach discuss the "true" biopic that is 2022's Weird: The Al Yankovic Story. Is this satire over done or did they knock it out of the park?
