Believers, you are always either moving towards Christ or away from Christ. The enemy is relentless and is set on distracting you from your walk with the Lord. On your own, you are set for failure, but you are not on your own. Your sin is not stronger than God’s grace. If you are a Christian, then God Himself dwells in you. You don’t have to bend to your fleshly desires. Jesus takes your old man and makes him new, but you have to be refreshing your mind every day. 

There’s got to be a change in our desires for our actions to change. You will not be disciplined to do something you don’t want to do. So we need to get to work. Saturate your mind in Scripture daily. The more you look at Jesus, the more you look like Him. Be diligent today, pursue the Lord, and rest in His forgiveness.
