You give what you get. That little sentence summarizes so much of the Christian faith, especially after you read the tense story of the sinful woman who crashed the Pharisee’s party. Jesus used this awkward moment to proclaim forgiveness to sinners and remind us of the only logical response to a God who has forgiven our entire spiritual debt.
