Are their actions acceptable? (1 Kings 3:9 Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this thy so great a people?)

Do you watch Dancing with the Stars? Have the outfits changed in 30 years? Are people being blinded to right or wrong? (GOD’S WAY)

Decree: My “WORDS” are alive and fully supplied by the Holy Spirit!

Rabbi Joseph Telushkin notes: That “WORDS” are powerful may seem obvious, but the fact is that most of us, most of the time, use them lightly. We choose our clothes more carefully than we choose our WORDS! We are going to look at 3 ways our “WORDS” are directing our daily lives. Proverbs 18:21 (KJV) Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they that love it shall the fruit thereof. Proverbs 18:21 (CEV) Words can bring death or life! Talk too much, and you will eat everything you say. Today I will find new  found REVERENCE – the FEAR OF THE LORD and I will be “REVERENCED READY” in 2022!

Text: *Gen. 1:26-27 & Isa. 55:6-13– note V.11- “God’s WORD shall as a seed shall accomplish what He pleases” {like with King David - 2 Samuel 12:1,7 & 13} and we are created in His image! Come up to God’s way of thinking and God’s way of talking by His Spirit we have the mind of Christ (1 Cor. 2:16)!

Keep what you know to yourself, and you will be safe; talk too much, and you are done for. -*Proverbs 21:23 (TPT) Watch your words and be careful what you say, and you'll be surprised how few troubles you'll have.

Note V.37- “THYWORDS” (LOG’-OS) something said including the thought – {THE TONGUE IS THE MOST POWERFUL PART OF THE BODY AS IT IS THE WINDOW TO THE SOUL.} *See *Ecc. 10:20 – “CURSE NOT” = to make light of (we all are kings – Rev. 1:6 & 5:10)  See *Pro. 30:32-33 – put your hand on your mouth! Why? See *2 Cor. 5:10 – what we have done in the body good or bad brings judgment!

How many will testify that they love the Lord? How many call Jesus their Lord? As you read the Bible you see through periods of time God allowed certain leeway. But with time and revelation where more was given more was required. In the last days with evil and deceit increasing the Lord is increasing His anointing.  With greater anointing comes great truth and thus more responsibility! Brothers and Sisters what worked yesterday will NOT work today! Each one of us is going to have to make a choice: "CHRIST or COMPROMISE ". It is an individual choice.

HOW CAN WE TEACH WHAT WE DON’T EVEN KNOW OURSELVES?

See 1 John 4:8-10 – God is LOVE – See Luke 1:37 – for with God NOTHING shall be impossible – LOVE never fails so by LOVE we can obey!

*Read *Luke 6:46 – note “LORD” (KURIOS) = supreme in authority = FIRST & FINAL SAY! See Matt. 7:21-23 – Reality Check!

*Luke 22:42 Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless NOT MY WILL, but thine, be done.

                                                       #3 RIGHT LAW                       

*Read Matt. 4:17 – note “REPENT” (MET-AN-O-EH'-O) = to think differently – to put God back on top!

*Read Matt. 4:19 – note “FOLLOW” (DYOO'-TEH) = come hither after ME and be My disciple – disciplined in Jesus the Word!

*Read John 15:9-12 – note V.12 “LOVE” (John 13:34) How do we do that? By Jesus see V.9 again! STOP the COMPROMISE – “LOVE” never fails – “LOVE” thinks no evil! “LOVE” covers a multitude of sins! Ask God to shed His “LOVE” afresh in your heart – Rom. 5:5!

Illustration: #1. Suppose you had a thousand-acre farm, and someone offered to buy it. You agree to sell the land except for one acre right in the center which you want to keep for yourself. Did you know that in some areas the law would allow you to have access to that one lone spot? And that you would have the right to build a road across the surrounding property to get to it? So, it is with us as Christians if we make less than 100-percent surrender to God. We can be sure that the devil will take advantage of any inroad to reach that uncommitted area of our lives - “CHRIST or COMPROMISE Choose”. Our legal system is from the Courts of Heaven!

“THE HAVES and THE HAVE NOTS”

(January 14, 2022)

If we are going to succeed or fail in this life, it starts with us taking responsibility for our moment-by-moment choices! When the trauma of a critical moment arrives, we must understand it was the “little choices” that got in into that situation. No person just wakes up one morning and suddenly decides to do this horrible action that destroys others around them. No, it happens because of selfishness! 

So much of society is looking around to those “THAT HAVE” ____ and want ____ to the point of trying to take it but they are unwilling to do what it takes to have it! So, let’s look at the scriptural origin of the title of today’s devotional:

*Matthew 13:19 (KJV) For WHOSOEVER HATH, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but WHOSOEVER HATH NOT, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.

*Matthew 13:19 (NLT) To THOSE WHO LISTENto my teaching, more understanding will be given, and they will have an abundance of knowledge. But for THOSE WHO ARE NOT LISTENING, even what little understanding they have will be taken away from them.

People around the world even those with enormous influence keep talking about evolution. They speak of how mankind is evolving every day. In all truth I must say that is a lie if we look at it from the Bible point of view! Mankind is devolving – going backwards not forward when they choose to leave off the Word of God! Yes, knowledge is increasing which brings technology forward but in the things of life mankind has never been more ignorant!

When we become “OUTSIDE MINDED” taught by societies instead of being “INSIDE MINDED” and taught by the Lord we go backward! Let’s see just a little insight that Adam had from the beginning when he walked in the cool of the day with the Lord:

*Genesis 2:15 & 20 (KJV) And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. 20 And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.

*Genesis 2:15 & 20 (NLT) The Lord God placed the man in the Garden of Eden to tend and watch over it. 20 He gave names to all the livestock, all the birds of the sky, and all the wild animals. But still there was no helper just right for him.

Just remember your first day on your first job. What a nightmare trying to remember your responsibilities and the names of those around, not to mention the names of the equipment! Adam does not have a notebook or a tablet or smart phone to take notes on! He does not have anything except God talking to his heart, being “INSIDE MINDED”! Adam had to name every animal on the earth and then have capacity to be able to remember the names and shapes of every animal! Take an average person today and place then in that situation and what would be the results? To be a part of the “THE HAVES” you must have wisdom, knowledge and then understanding and that comes from God’s Word alone (Psalms 147:5, 1 John 3:20):

*Proverbs 2:1-7 (KJV) My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee; 2 So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding; 3 Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding; 4 If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures;             5 Then shalt thou understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God. 6 FOR THE LORD GIVETH WISDOM: OUT OF HIS MOUTH COMETH KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING. 7 He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly.
