This episode is dedicated to two creatives we lost in the city of Harrisburg over the past weeks. Scott Selvey who I have mentioned many times on this podcast as my mentor for teaching me how to make beats, passed away pretty much almost the same day that Vinny’s friend Barry Byrd passed away. Been a tough week but Vinny Bruce and myself got through it. We also get into DareDevil as well as the “marvel chairs” sequence that happened. We start off with the dedication to those two gentlemen and we proceed to get lighter as the episode goes along. Of course jokes and everything start flying so enjoy.

Based off of a post where Tony Baker ranked his favorite Jazzy and Nells Albums, Cordell and I discussed his pics and debate which albums were better. He got Dula finally back on the podcast. In this episode, we interview his mentor as far as record shopping goes. We take a nice trip down memory lane speaking with Phill a.k.a. @Phillmostchill. From record shows at the Roosevelt in New York in the early 90s to selling records to all of your favorite producers like Diamond D, Alchemist, Pete Rock, Q-tip, etc., to a discussion about a producer vs a beat maker. We covered everything. And of course, we talk about the legendary Roy Ayers. Rest in peace. We speak about all of the artist who have sampled them and we even play some amazing original records that were sampled by some of your favorites. Great conversation for those interested in vinyl, etc..

Happy birthday to me. On my 47th birthday I decided to record an episode with the fellas. Vinny & I start off reviewing Captain America Brave New World before Bruce Arlo and Dula jump on. Arlo AKA Frank Swanson has his debut on the podcast. Actually was his first podcast ever. We then get into a nice long talk about Harrisburg history. From hell uptown South beefing to Harrisburg Mall history to just everything about the city. We then talked about Paradise so if you are not caught up on Paradise don’t listen to the last 20 minutes.

Happy New Year’s everyone. We’re a month late but back to work. In this episode, we discuss obviously the biggest entertainment event of the year so far. Didn’t really speak about the Eagles, but we did speak about the Kendrick halftime show. Everybody gave their own critiques, pros cons, etc. We also delve into what other critics had to say about it and messaging within entertainment. We also delve into Kanye West recent Twitter rants, which led to an interesting debate about people falling for his antics. Jokes as usual.
