“Oh to be young again” a mom said to me as we were moving our daughters into their dorm for their first semester of college. “No, thank you!” I thought? I would not give up the hard life lessons I’ve learned for the tighter skin and boundless energy of my youth. Shawna and Scott talk about what the bible has to say about aging, hard things, & not giving up – no matter what! Yes, these times are hard – legitimately hard! But Jesus was honest about that reality. He told us we’d have trouble in our lifetime. But he also promises to be with us through it all – every moment! With our minds set on him we can move from old thought patterns to new, holy thought patterns! We have a good heavenly Father who doesn’t hold out on us but lavishes His love on us. We can count on Him to provide what we need most today.
