It took me longer than I care to admit to accept I wasn’t cut out for a career in music. This story is about one wild night in Portland, it started innocently enough and severed and my dumb hopes of somehow making it as a career musician.

It was a helluva day trip to Little Falls, MN.
We encountered a group of weekend warriors wearing pleated khakis, ate someone else's pizza, saw an incredible photographer present his latest project, visited the Black & White cafe, almost bought everything at Treasure City, and eavesdropped some family's conversation at Coborns.
Even a day trip can be packed-in with so many incredible experiences. We need to get out more often.

This episode is about how travel can be disastrous and how tragedy has a special way of putting things into perspective. The sooner we come to terms with misdirection, the sooner we'll be able to enjoy what little time we have to get away.
