After going down to DC and picking up three points, we talk about the less than dominant performance from the Union. After what feels like games every other day for the Union, we are back with one of our longest episodes we've ever done (for better or for worse). We discussed the last three games and the seven points we got from them, the performances we saw that were both good and bad, and where we stand now with some grading so far. The Union made a big move to get Gazdag and we get into his potential impact when he arrives. Another two games for us to discuss but all that really mattered was that the Union advanced to Champions League semifinals. The NYCFC game was a wash due to the stupid Martinez red card BUT the Union get the job done against Atlanta and we share our takes from the games and how proud we are of Jim Curtin. The second half of the episode gets silly as we discuss refocusing back on MLS and why stupid reasons why Union fans might start protesting. We end with an in-depth preview of Chicago Fire.

Another episode with multiple games to talk about. There was the Miami regular season game that was... not great. The Higuains got the best of Chester this time as the Union's defense couldn't figure it out. Luckily we didn't need to wait much longer before the next game where the Union gave us something special. After weathering all that Atlanta could through at them, the Union stole 3 points off 3 goals and a stunning second half where they ran Atlanta off the field. The Union are coming off two games for us to discuss, one a Monteiro masterclass in CCL and the other a respectable and well-earned tie in Columbus. The 4-0 thrashing of Saprissa sends the Union into the quarterfinals and deeper into uncharted territories and we share our excitement from that performance. We also discuss the Union season opener against the Crew and how our guys stacked up against them. The Union took care of business down in Saprissa and won 1-0 off Kacper's headed goal. There was some Concacafing late in the game but they head back to Philly in a great spot. We discuss who we thought had the best performances and what we liked from the game.
