  • Doopy Brothers Episode 79: MLS Playoffs start with... the Revs again, ugh
With the MLS playoffs off to a wild start, the Union find an all too familiar foe in their first round game. Unfortunately, it's the Revs once again after their stars in Bou and Gil took care of Montreal. While we still believe the Union will beat New England once again, we discuss why this should be the toughest Revs match yet. We also discuss the craziness of the MLS matches that took place this weekend and all the end of year rewards and recognition the Union got this year. Enjoy!

  • Doopy Brothers Episode 78: We got the Shield.
We still can't believe that happened. After an unforgettable weekend in Philadelphia, the Union finally got their first trophy. We try to put into words how special it was to be in the stadium for the game and trophy celebration. There were moments that got the Union to the trophy this season and we recall all the most memorable and important ones. Once we got done gushing about the best team in the league's season finally, we talk about the upcoming international break's implication to the Union as well as possible opponents for the playoffs. After that, well, it got... interesting; AJ made up some Union themed nursery rhymes that he wanted to share. Sorry for your ears.

  • Doopy Brothers Episode 77: Another Shot at the Shield... and the Revs
While the Union didn't lock in the Supporters Shield in Columbus, they still have a shot to do so in Subaru Park against familiar foes, the Revs, on Decision Day. The Columbus game brought a lot of chances to secure the win but the Union just couldn't get the goals to do so. It wasn't all bad, the Union played a good game and we discussed the positives as well as the negatives (it wasn't all on Bendik). With this week being as stressful as it is, we wanted to bring some goofiness to the second half of the episode with a tribute to Daryl Grove in creating an XI of characters from The Office. We also give our (never accurate) predictions for the Revs game, which can be definitively called the Biggest Regular Season Game In Union History. Enjoy!

  • Doopy Brothers Episode 76: Sooooo Close to the Shield
After scrapping a win against Chicago, The Union are three freakin' points away from winning their first trophy in history. The emphatic 5-0 win against Toronto set up this opportunity and we discuss what happened in both games. Even though the Union are in an amazing spot in their season, there were some concerns regarding Martinez's postive COVID testing, Andre Blake's hand injury, and the impending international call-ups. As usual, we end with a Columbus preview, predictions, and a very random weekly Ebay find.

  • Episode 75: We're Tired of The Liberty Rivalry™
Another Revs game means another win, also another Fontana game winner. We've heard it all before, and it wasn't the prettiest game, but three points is three points. After going through what happened in the game, we talk about the historic transfer announcement of Brenden Aaronson, the weird Supporters Shield decision, and where the upcoming Toronto game stacks up in importance in Union history. The latter two topics spur some lovely brotherly debate that I know you all will surely enjoy (maybe). Enjoy!

  • Doopy Brothers Episode 74: Playoffs Clinched!
After a Montreal win and DC tie, the Union are now playoff bound and we ready to talk all about it. We discussed how it felt to be back in the stadium finally and a rather disappointing road tie in DC. There were plenty of highlights but none greater than Mark Mckenzie's banger to salvage a point. We then got into some stats that show a bit about how the Union's success has come from many different areas. To preview the Revs game, we share what we think the Union will do with the available players in New England.

  • Doopy Brothers Episode 73: A Family Special (evergreen episode)
Due to scheduling and since there were so many games in such a condensed timeframe that the episodes struggle to stay relevant, we decided to just put out an "evergreen" episode that we previously recorded on a family weekend trip were we discuss non-time sensitive topics. Joined by "Doopy Dad", we get into some fun conversations about homegrowns, MLS as a whole, and some jersey talk.
We'll be back next week with a regular episode. Enjoy!
