This week on the show we took a look at the second Raw on the TNN network that featured a Kurt Angle vs. HHH main event. We also chat about some new Mattel sets coming our way (eventually) as well as the first NXT on the CW Network and AEW's Grand Slam offerings. Lots of moving television parts this time of year apparently. We hope you love the show and if so, be sure to help spread the word! Cheers!
This week on the show we had a blast. We covered the first WWF Raw on the TNN network as well as the Unforgiven PPV that proceeded it. The show was interrupted a few times by my dogs, but that's par for the course at times. We also checked out a fantastic AJPW match between Vader and Mitsuharu Misawa before running down the latest offerings from WWE and AEW. Cheers!
This week on the show we took a look back at the final Monday Night Raw on the USA network for five years as the 2000 Raw roster was headed to the Unforgiven PPV. We also chat about a couple of classic WWECW matches, the latest offerings from WWE and AEW and so much more. It was a fun one, folks! Hope you enjoy.
Were back baby! After a week away from the show we sat down to chat about so much stuff that happened the past week. We saw everything that AEW had to offer live and in living color. Dynamite in Milwaukee. Collison, Rampage and All Out in Chicago. The Dork Side boys saw it all and we spend most of the show running through our itinerary. Hope you enjoy! Cheers!
This week was a little weak on the History and Retro Raw side of things, but all of that is completely out of our control! I feel like we made up for it with the analysis of the tremendous All In show that AEW presented from Wembley Stadium this past weekend. We took some time to look back at each match, and there were some good ones. Quick reminder that we are taking next week off. We will be back the following week and will have a ton to talk about as we will be taking in THREE AEW SHOWS LIVE! Until then, thanks so much for listening and we will be back on September 11th. Never forget. Cheers!
This week on the show we took a look at the go home Raw to SummerSlam 2000 where Lita and Stephanie were in the main event with the Women's Championship on the line. We also touched briefly on the finals of the NJPW G1 Climax tournament, ICW: Milwaukee's Insane 8 Death Match tournament and so much more!
Hey Gang! This week on the show Adam and I had a great time chatting about so much Wrestlestuff! Is that a word? Its in my vocabulary now, so yes! "On This Day" provided us with some G1 Climax results as well as the final taping of a beloved WWF show. The "RRR" was the penultimate episode before SummerSlam so you know it was chock full of fuckery, but we did see a couple returns, which was cool. On "The Stu" we covered most of the latest offerings from WWE, NXT, & AEW as they head toward the big Wembley show in a couple weeks, as well as a G1 update as the block finals are set. Cheers!
We have a very special treat in store for you all this week as our friend Casey Corbin returns to the show! Casey was in Cleveland this past weekend for SummerSlam so what better time to catch up an have him share his thoughts on the biggest part of the summer. We also have a brief history lesson on a couple of lesser known stars that popped up in the first two segments, and of course checked out the Retro Raw Review where things are reaching a breaking point between Stephanie, Hunter and Kurt Angle. Cheers!
We had a blast recording this week and I think you will have a great time listening! We chatted about the big WrestleFest show that happened right up the road in 1988 and a very fun title change sequence in the history segment. The Retro Raw was chock full of tag matches from the Georgia Dome, where HHH is having all sorts of personal problems. From there we took a look at the figures we are most looking forward to from the SDCC reveals before wrapping it up with a big old bowl of Wrestling Stu. Enjoy!
Fully loaded with both hosts, that is! Lots of great content too as we took a look back at some history that included Sherri Martel's WWF debut and a crazy slate of dark matches from a '95 Raw. We also chat about ACW Wisconsin at Tanners and all of the great things we have soaked up over the past seven days. Enjoy!
