Want to make a quick note for yourself or a family member? Family Notes can help. That's the long and the short of it … in a nutshell.
Big thanks to David Ward ([email protected]) for today's demo. Enormously useful but US-only right now, being able to tell the A-lady snippets of info to remember and then asking her at a later date about what she knows is huge - huge I tell you! No more noting down phone numbers on pieces of paper and losing them. No more post it notes on the fridge. But for now us non-USers will just have to use the Family Notes skill - which we'll look at tomorrow.
Would you rather revisit a really great skill we've covered already, or be shown a new one that might not be so good? That's the sort of question you'll get in today's offering. Actually, they're more like, "Would you rather have frogs legs or marry a toad." - that sort of thing - but still it's a great skill with great sound-effects.
Today's skill is for all those very small kids out there who don't mind a squeaky Sesame Street-type host who'll help them speak, listen and learn their letters. Animal noises and jokes feature large too.
Yet another excellent skill brought to us by the prolific guys at Vocala.co, today's skill is an instant favourite for me. Finally, a full crossword experience in awesome audio-only form is here - and big thanks to Tiffany Black (@1modernmonster on the Twitters) for bringing it to us. I don't think it shows the puzzle on an Echo Show - or at least it didn't mention this in the description. What the description did cover, however, is a load of useful tips on gameplay, so I thought I'd include it in its entireity here:
Log your feelings, mood (or anything else you fancy, I suppose) with today's final skill brought to us by @h0psing. "A-lady, tell Voice Snap that I'm feeling really good about today's demo."
By the same developer as yesterday's skill, today we help rebuild our father's farming empire with blood, sweat and tears - oh, and most probably fertiliser to. Thanks again @h0psing.
Covered over 600 episodes ago, this one was flagged by the A-lady as a good skill to try so let's revisit it here.
Got the answer to the last riddle whilst editing this episode. I think it begins with 'F' and has six letters, if you're interested. Mind not fully mashed yet, then.
