Can you Yellow spot the colour randomly Red inserted into passages of Blue text? I bet you Purple can.
Covered about a million and a half episodes ago, today's skill is well worth a revisit. Can you puzzle your way out of this rectangular, er, square room with nothing but your wits, four statues, a cabinet, a letterbox and a computer to help?
It's Cows and Bulls all over again, but this time the hoof's on the other foot. The A-lady has to guess our three-letter word and we give her a little help with a piratical twist.
That's it - just a minute to meditate each day. We can all squeez that amount of mindfulness in to our busy schedules, can't we? Let's do it.
Ooooh - I like this one. The name reassures us that it'll loop forever without a jarring stop, and the sounds are so good that you'll want them to loop forever and never stop. Nice.
Is 'Mimsy' a word? Surely that's absurd! Actually it's a portmanteau of 'Miserable' and 'Flimsy' as defined by the A-lady and, according to this skill, it means 'Rather feeble or prim and affected'. Thus it's a great word to include as one of the names of Sir Nicholas in the wonderful HP books. BTW I bought a bottle of sauce the other day. HP. I'm paying 8p a week for 15 weeks. If that doesn't make sense to you then Google 'HP Sauce' - it's a British institution.
Today a new contributer, Tiffany Black (@1modernmonster on the Twitters), brings us a brilliant new skill to help you sleep; 'Sleep Aid' - and it's better than that pesky 'Sleep Sheep', that's for sure.
Just say, “Alexa, sing the ‘No Body Blues’” and you'll (hopefully - depending upon where you are) get this fab and rather moving song by the very tuneful A-lady.
First covered waaay back in episode 346, this one's well worth a revisit. From the amazing developers, Magic Door LLC (yes, that's right - bringers of the brilliant Magic Door skill covered in episode 1 and then rightly revisited in episode 384), this one definitely deserves a dabble.
By the excellent Y Combinator startup incubator and launched with 'Startup School', this ten-week podcast course provides invaluable info for anyone starting in business or just curious about exactly what's involved in being an entrepreneur.
