Dot to Dot - the daily 5min Alexa demo show

With saucy sound-effects and wonderful wit, this brilliant brew of a skill's a great addition to anyone's A-lady skill archive.

She's back! Ashley Colburn ([email protected]) brings us a brilliant demo of a skill that grills us in our Spanish numbers. This groovy skill is also available in German, Italian, French and Japanese flavours.

From the same developers who brought us 'Which Language' a few short days ago, today we're being tested on our aural abilities to tell a croak from a bellow. Actually, if you really want a laugh, ask someone from another country about the noises animals make where they come from. It'll make you realise just how stupid "Woof" really is…

Covered waaaay back in episode 44 and now with all new sassiness, today's skill is brought to us by the brilliant new contributor Christina (@SFCatLover on Twitter) and is definitely worthy of a double-noughty slot. So strap yourself in and here we go.

It's a weak one today guys - but that's ok as tomorrow's episode (episode 900!) will seem even stronger in comparison. Cunning. And at least we can console ourselves that we're not being attacked by marauding hoards of the undead. Can you actually kill a Zombie, BTW? Answers to [email protected] please.

I simply must include the skill description verbatim here as it's so perfect; "Choice of the Dragon is a thrilling interactive novel by Dan Fabulich and Adam Strong-Morse, where your choices control the story. The game is fueled by the vast, unstoppable power of your imagination. Battle heroes, wizards, and rival dragons in your insatiable thirst for gold and infamy. Start by dominating a local tribe of goblins, then usurp the kingdom, defending and expanding your despotic regime to annex neighboring kingdoms, incinerating the peasants in their thatched-roof cottages. O, mighty dragon, spread your wings and let your shadow fall over the terrorized nation beneath you! Play as male, female, neither, or an undetermined gender. Find and seduce another dragon to be your mate. Kidnap princesses for good conversation, to bait heroes, or for a light snack. Isn't it a little sexist to always kidnap princesses? Kidnap a prince instead. Ransack holy temples, blaspheming against vengeful gods." Nice sound-effects too.

Bonjour. Ich liebe dieser groovy skill heute. Espero que te gusta. tambien. dasvidaniya.

This cool audio adventure story comes in daily doses. It encourages kids to do tasks in the real world as part of the on-going adventure and, apparently, also includes great graphics to illustrate each scene as we go.

It's a bit of a shame that, according to the intro, you've committed unspeakable crimes to end up in the infamous Alcatraz - that puts a bit of a dampener on this otherwise excellent audio escape adventure - but give it a go nonetheless.

Also by RP Apps, today's game combines a general knowledge quiz with a race to certain death (certain death if you're as good at general knowledge questions as I am, anyway). So good luck outwitting Alexa and outrunning the ever-advancing peril…
