Based on a Tom Clancy novel in which a virus has spread around the world causing a significant amount of general unpleasantness, todays skill is deftly introduced by Andy Brown (@AndrewBrown100) and does contain a mature content warning.
Test yourself to the very limit with today's very vocal quiz against the clock. And when I say "The very limit", I'm talking maxing out the speed limit in, say, a 30MPH zone…
Today, Thomas Domville ([email protected]) provides us with an electrifying example of how to win against a monstrous foe in Victory Road's battle arena.
I love this skill. It's the simple story of a sensible shoe-collecting goblin who one day decides that evil's not for him. He's not very bright and eaten up with envy for his neighbour, Grug, and his oversized mud garden, but I'm sure he's going places. Now I just can't stop thinking of those goblin heroes who died in battle wearing flipflops.
Along time ago in an episode far, far away, we covered another bomb diffusing skill. Today, Patrick Steggle ([email protected]) brings us another. Why the Star Wars reference? No reason except that it's a fab film. Er, let me think. Well… it certainly exploded onto cinema screens in 1977 and has remained a firm favourite ever since (ignore the prequels). How's that? Sorry. To make up for it feel free to go back and get some real Star Wars goodness in episodes 116, 117, 197, 280 and, of course, the very recent 824.
Today's skill seems to serve up simple questions, but often they hide more significant concepts (such as what is a simile and the importance of rythm in both poetry and prose). There's more to this one than meets the ear on first listen.
Thomas Domville ([email protected]) takes us back to those golden years of yore when gripping stories had the best pictures.
A nice top ten trivia quiz against the clock today. If you're not into the gratuitous bursting of oversized bubblewrap, however, then skip the first 30 secons or so - you have been warned.
Ashley Colburn ([email protected]) is back to bring us a nice skill she stumbled upon while her husband was away. Mum, Mum, Mum, Mum, Mum, Mum, Mum, Mum, Mum, Mum, Mum, Mum, Mum, Mum, Mum, Mum, Mum, Mum's the word (you'll see what I mean).
Please help the messy people of Stinky Town recycle their waste with today's great skill. re cycling; if you want less of a waist then jumping on a bike might be a good way to get it - but that's a completely different topic.
