In this episode I talk about my recent trip to The National Gallery and how discovering two new series of paintings inspired me to think about how relationships are portrayed in art -- with a particular focus on Derek Cianfrance's 2010 movie, BLUE VALENTINE and also Scott McClanahan's THE SARAH BOOK from 2015. 

And just to prove that I'm not totally out of the loop with pop culture, there's also a mention of Lily Allen's new album!
