Question:
Dear Miri and Judie
I have been a caregiver for over a decade. And they say that if you do something for a thousand hours, you'll become proficient. Well, I did my thousand hours and then some.
Now the person that I cared for is gone, and has been for over a year. I just don't remember how to be ME anymore. Everything I wanted I put on the backburner.) Now the whole stove is mine, but I feel I've forgotten what I like, or even how to cook. All metaphorically of course,
So my question is: How do I recover my purpose and my sense of self?
Thanks,
The Chef
