The NFL is back (sort of) and so is Ryan Fitzpatrick! The Jets finally avoid having to hand the keys to Geno Smith and we're all better for it. The Mets are falling apart and the Yankees traded one of their big three from the bullpen. The Democratic National Convention finished up which means we're officially in general election season and the Islanders possibly looking to swap boroughs. It's the middle of July and sports are dull...Paul Ryan doesn't get how sports work...yet perfect describes stupid college sports fans, baseball stinks in New York with the Mets and Yankees sputtering out of the gate after the MLB All Star Game. And speaking of which, it was another snooze fest that MLB still feels they don't need to change. The Republican National Convention finished up last night with Donald Trump dropping an hour plus long speech on America with Harambe watching from the clouds. Aside from those two things we talk sunglasses, chickens, cheese, ciabatta bread, pokemon go, how much Tim Duncan sucks, and much much more. *disclaimer* we might not talk about any of those things but the only way to find out is to listen to Dave and Sam and find out!

Tonight we talk Wimbledon and tennis with Harry Cicma, sports anchor for NBC News NY. Also, Daniel Murphy, Tim Duncan, Pokemon Go, and we ponder if New York has gotten soft.

It actually happened! The Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Golden State Warriors in game seven of the NBA Finals! LeBron and Kyrie combined for another incredible performance as the cavs won their first ever NBA title.
