Double G Sports

NFL playoffs, National Championship, Nets, Knicks

As you loyal DTGers know Sarah and Jackie are hockey obsessed! Chive Nation Montreal is exactly the same and they are using their passion for the support to encourage kids to acheive their dreams in the sport as well as allow the sport to teach them life lessons. Plus we have a lot of hockey to discuss, from trades to injuries and the All Star Game roster announced, you don't want to miss this!

The New York Jets blew their opportunity to get into the National Football League playoffs with their loss in Buffalo against the Bills over the weekend which we will discuss as well as the upcomming NFL playoff matchups. Pittsburgh vs. Cincinnati, Kansas City vs. Houston, Minnesota vs. Seattle and Washington vs. Green Bay. We will break down the matchups and make our picks. Plus NHL, NBA, MLB, MLS and the non sponsored hot take of the week which you can only get on the Sam Mines Sports Show so tune in!

Tonight, Jayson and I give our post mortem on the Jets. We are joined by Liam Jenkins (@LiamJenkins21), propeitor of PhillySportsNetwork.com. Great interview. Super-smart, and a must listen for Philly fans. Piazza makes it to the HOF, and Jayson and I complain about the HOF voting

Happy New Year loyal DTGers! To kick the new year off right we are honored to announce that hockey legend, Chris 'Knuckles' Nilan will be joining us this morning! Nilan a born Boston boy was selected by the Montreal Candienes in the 12th round! He grew within the team and became one of the great enforcers not only in Montreals history but the NHL as a whole! Traded to the Rangers then to the Bruins at age 33, Nilan continued to battle. At the end of his career Nilan returned home to Montreal. Nilan suffered drug and alcohol abuse after his hockey career but has turned his life around and is now an inspriational speaker, role model, and all around amazing guy! Make sure to tune in, you do not want to miss this!

Jets win and in! Giants collapse, Yankees acquire Aroldis Chapman, Cleanthony Early gets robbed, and the finalists are in and the voting is open for the 2015 Double G Sports awards!

We have lots to talk about today. My time on WFAN, hot takes, NFL picks, Jets (and their big patriots matchup this weekend) and Giants, that Odell Beckham Josh Norman thing that happened, the undefeated Carolina Panthers, the Mets ownership delivering coal to every Mets fan for Christmas, all day Christmas NBA, and NHL. Happy holidays!
