Snax? Snax, you say? We got you!
For our last Spooky Season Episode we talk about our favorite Halloween Candy and we pair it with a game. You know the Segment.
The one where we pair dope food with even doper games, like one might do with a fancy feast and fine wine. But that's all we do!!!
Danelle, Mikey, Guest Writer Sam Squanch and yes...even Producer Geoff give their favorite candy and game pairings.
Does that mean we will hear Producer Geoff's actual voice for the first time? Or did the Double Shift crew speak on his behalf? And if they did...does it actually represent him? Tune in to find out!!!
Try the games:

We've heard many Urban Legends growing up...babysitter cooking the "wrong turkey", Bloody Mary, Geoff saying something witty and interesting...
But have you heard the one about the kid named Ben, who haunted a N64 Cartridge? Or how about the one where Sonic the Hegdehog attacked all of his friends and ruined your computer?
Why, there might even be the one about the Troll that lives inside the Game Build!!!
You'll have to tune in to find out...plus we want to know if you remember what novelty pizza from the 90s was served from the various pizza chains!
Oh and Bigfoot...we talk about Bigfoot...
BUT DO WE? You'll just have to tune in to find out!
Have you ever been watching a movie and thought to yourself that it would make a great video game?
So you look it up, and it doesn't have a video game adaptation? So you make up a fake Video Game about that movie?
Or maybe, there is a video game based on a movie, but you thought of a different one. A BETTER ONE! So you design that game as well?
And then, after that...did you ever have a podcast where you can share these ideas? Maybe you even design an original game completely for the Snax segment?
Well...don't worry, if you haven't...WE DID! Join us as we make up Video Games for Spooky Movies, come up with our own Doritos Flavors and even design an original Halloween Game!
Not everything that is Spooky has to be terrifying. Sometimes you want to just open up the window, let the cool fall breeze in, wrap yourself in a blanket and leisurely manage a graveyard!
Or, maybe you throw on a nice coat, put some hot coffee in a to go cup (throw in a little pumpkin spice maybe) and walk to your Plant Shop that may or may not prevent a cult from taking over the town.
Even witches like to feel cozy as they are capturing people's souls for a demon goat that they made a pact with years ago!
This week is all about the spooky games that are also cozy! Those to-do list games that make you put off your to-do list from real life!
Oh...and we also eat a zombie hand...so gather all of your coziest accessories and join us for the most light hearted spooky episode of this season!
Dinner is served! And what's on the menu? Why...it's YOU! Well, hopefully not you...we need all of our fans around...
Today we talk about Cannibalism in Video Games. And not the fake kind either. Zombies? Pshh...Danelle HATES zombies. We're talking humans eating other humans!
And then we get grossed out about that and starting talking about Tofu. Stay tuned until the end and see what beer or wine pairing Danelle chooses for our 6 course video game character meal! Spoiler alert...the video game characters ARE the meal!
Have you ever woken up, only to find yourself in strange 1950s town, not knowing who you are? Does your mother bake cookies for a charity event too early and throw them away because they’ll get stale? Ever needed to seek answers from the local cult?
Boy I hate when that happens…but it doesn’t need to happen to you! You can simply play the 1990’s PC game called Harvester!
This week, we have an episode dedicated to one of the most bizarre games ever in honor of spooky season! Careful though, there are some spoilers…
We also talk about apples and what a game would look like if a bunch of goth film students developed it.
If you listen to this episode but can’t remember it after…then we knew you were always such a kidder…
Tune in this week as we blah, blah, blah...you know what? This episode really sucks. The Double Shift Podcast ought to be laid to rest. Yeah. In a coffin!
We only come out at night for this episode about our favorite blood suckers. We see what it's like when Van Helsing is more fit for the old folks home, rather than hunting vampires. We get bored of our day jobs, so we join the circus, which is also boring, so we hunt vampires. We move to the suburbs, as vampires, and eat people who are jogging at midnight for some reason.
And of course...we eat Oreos and play a game with vampire in the title, but with no vampires in the game. Stay tuned to the end, because it seems as if one of our hosts turns into a vampire themselves!!! Talk about blah, blah, blah!
Join us, Double Shift fans, if you dare...for this week's episode is something so creepy, so vile, so juicy...wait juicy?
That's right! This weeks episode is TIKI TIME! And what better to celebrate Tiki Time than with a Zombie! NOOOO! Not the drink! The walking undead. The ghouls who rise from their graves, just to feast on our brains. The slow moving infectious disease that aims to end all of mankind!!!!
OK, we will talk about the drink too, why not. Hell, we may even go to Disneyland again!
Join us as we talk about Zombie Video games that aren't best selling franchises, but ones we might have played in school back in the 90s. Heck, you may even learn how to type better in the end!
Here at Double Shift, everyday is Halloween. So we are starting to celebrate early! Starting with this show, until the greatest night of the year, we will be celebrating all things SPOOOOOOKY!
So set your game consoles to October 31st. And after you do that, launch some games to see what surprises might appear! If you stick around, you can also learn how to make the perfect pumpkin seed!
And listen, we're not hating on other holidays either...you can start drinking the best beer in the world around this time of year, even though it's meant for Xmas time.
So get your video game costumes on (even if they kinda suck) because it's about to get SPOOOOOOKY up in here!

The Show where seasoned Video Game Industry Vets talk about NOTHING but Video Games. Well...sometimes they talk about food. BUT, they bring it back to Video Games. OK sometimes they get sidetracked…
